Rainy days, Furries and Hot Chocolate.

Good Morning!

Popped up this bright morning and watered the garden first thing so my lovely greeneries could enjoy their drink before the tree's shadows moved off the beds.... whelp... my super duper smart
phone would have informed me that it was a drenching rainy day today and to enjoy a walk in the fleeting morning sun and leave the garden's drink to the clouds to provide...
Now Sadie is patiently waiting on the porch for the rain to stop and I have decided to celebrate the cool breezy sprinkling that my plants so love with a cup of hot chocolate-coffee.
I am fortunate that my new apt/studio (yes, after 27 years I moved from Hudson) is bordering a Spanish neighborhood and I have access to all the sounds, smells, tastes and overall culture that goes with it.

I used 2 triangles of a Mexican chocolate disk ground in my mortar and pestle, Cinnamon stick, grated on the smalled side of the grate
r and milk with panella... o
ften I also use a bit of ground cayenne but am uncharacteristically out today so skipped it. :)
I then poured it into a cup 1/2 filled with hand ground, french pressed black coffee. It is already gone and am pondering making more as I type this.

Today is for inside creating today and tasking today so I will plot the continued organization of my studio and plot how I am going to turn two ladders we found discarded into a couch and get it out of my walkway.
I can hear the church bells thru the rainy air...... It's going to be a wonderful day!
